Replacement Cutting Shaft – T&C
1. Replacement Shaft Included One replacement cutting shaft is included free of charge (FOC) as part of the agreed purchase.
2. Timing of Supply The replacement cutting shaft is not supplied with the machine at the time of delivery. It will be provided when the original cutting shaft requires replacement.
3. 12-Month Guarantee The original cutting shaft is covered by a 12-month guarantee, subject to ShredPack UK’s standard warranty terms and conditions. The replacement shaft is intended to be used when the original shaft requires replacement after the applicable guarantee period.
4. Requesting the Replacement When the replacement shaft is required, the customer must contact ShredPack UK. We will then arrange for the replacement shaft to be supplied and, if requested, installed by our engineer.
5. Engineer Installation Charge The replacement cutting shaft is provided FOC. An £80.00 installation charge will apply for an engineer to fit the replacement shaft.
6. Replacement Shaft Only The FOC replacement applies to one cutting shaft only and does not include additional replacement parts, servicing, travel or other costs unless specifically agreed in writing.
7. No Cash or Credit Alternative The replacement shaft cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, discount or any other alternative.
8. Machine Specific The replacement shaft is supplied specifically for the machine covered by this agreement and cannot be transferred to another machine.
9. Customer Responsibility The customer is responsible for operating and maintaining the machine in accordance with ShredPack UK’s operating and maintenance instructions. Damage resulting from misuse, incorrect operation, unauthorised modifications or other circumstances outside the warranty terms may not be covered.
10. Agreement These terms form part of the purchase agreement and should be retained by the customer for future reference when the replacement cutting shaft is required.

Additional Conditions for the Pre-Supply of an Extra Cutting Shaft
Replacement Cutting Shaft – Additional ConditionsFor
clarity, the following conditions apply to the replacement cutting shaft being
supplied:
1. Intended MachineThe replacement cutting shaft is supplied
specifically for the ShredPack SP320 machine covered under this purchase. It
must not be installed on or used with any other machine, including machines
manufactured by another make or brand.
2. Identification and TraceabilityThe replacement shaft is
marked by ShredPack UK for identification and traceability purposes. The
marking must not be removed, altered, or tampered with.
3. InstallationThe replacement shaft may be installed by the
customer or a suitably qualified person. However, as the cutting shaft is a
critical mechanical component, correct installation, alignment and fitting are
essential. ShredPack UK cannot accept responsibility for damage to the shaft,
machine, or any other components resulting from incorrect installation,
fitting, alignment, handling, or use.We recommend that installation is carried
out by a suitably qualified person or by a ShredPack engineer.
4. Transit DamageThe replacement shaft must be inspected
immediately upon delivery. Any damage believed to have occurred during
transportation must be reported to ShredPack UK within 24 hours of delivery,
together with clear photographic evidence of the packaging and the
shaft.ShredPack UK cannot accept responsibility for transit damage that is not
reported within this 24-hour period.
5. Condition Before DispatchThe shaft will be inspected and
photographed by ShredPack UK before packing and dispatch to confirm that it is
in new and undamaged condition. The shaft will then be securely packaged for
transportation.
6. Warranty and ResponsibilityThe replacement shaft is
supplied as the free replacement component included with the original SP320
purchase. Any warranty or guarantee applicable to the replacement shaft remains
subject to ShredPack UK’s applicable terms and conditions. Damage arising from
incorrect installation, misuse, modification, use on another machine, or
failure to follow the appropriate installation requirements will not be
covered.
