Swapfiets is a bicycle subscription. For a fixed amount per month you get a Swapfiets and we make sure it always works well. Bad luck on the road? Let us know via the app and we’ll repair your bike or swap it for a new one within 48 hours.

We have 2 types of memberships: Flexible and Loyal. With a Flexible membership you pay a one-off registration fee, and you can cancel at any time. With a Loyal membership you do not pay any registration fee, and you can cancel free of charge after 6 months. For both memberships you have a notice period of 1 month, and you pay the first and last month in advance.

Do not panic! With your membership you get free standard service and repairs within 48 hours. Contact us via the app, tell us what’s wrong and we’ll repair your bike or exchange it for a new one. If you are within our service area, we will even come to you to repair your bike on the spot. And otherwise you can always drop by one of our stores, even without an appointment.

There are 2 ways to get your bike: 1. Pick up at the store: The most sustainable option is to pick up the bike at one of our stores. Choose a date and time that suits you during registration. Our Swappers show you all the ins and outs of your bike and can immediately answer any questions you may have about your membership. This is also the fastest option, where you can use your new bike in no time. 2. Home delivery: We can also deliver your Swapfiets to your home for free on an agreed date and time. *Please note, this option is only available in certain locations within our service area: Stores .
